Dear seniors and BKK frequent travellers,

I need your advice and some information pertaining to my forthcoming BKK trip.

Appreciate if you could share information like clubbing, drinking, action packed and fun places.

Thanks for your help and advices.

Cheers!

Don't be lazy
Recommendation is simple
Go to http://www.sammyboyforum.com/search.php and type Bangkok or go to http://www.sammyboyforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=21 and read threads with word Bangkok or BKK :D

I had a couple of short trips recently with some pals and many of the threads here are incredibly helpful... Just need some time to sieve through all of it !

I would recommend going to "the lords", "La belle" . these 2 I have been before and had a good time there. I have also heard that Caesars and many around that vicinity are possible spots.

One thing that really helped me was Google maps so if you are so inclined make sure you have internet access!

Clubbing wise we enjoyed sister, funky, slim at Rica and insomnia although insomnia had more Caucasians than the other places.

If you are lucky you might be able to hook up with some locals to bring you to some local places for good food. I have no idea where we were brought to but local cuisine there was awesome.

Wish my next trip to BKK is soon!

If you havent booked your hotel yet Tim (from the sticky) has always been very helpful for me in that area.

Hello again got pm for more info so thought might help some others if it was elaborated a bit here..

This is a good place to book hotels, just give Tim your requirements. All 3 times that I went I booked through him and prices and value was good:

If you are booking on your own you need to be sure if the hotel is girl friendly, that is that you can bring people back without extra charges if I am not wrong. Not sure how you would bring that up to the hotel though! :D

I heard a bit about the agogo scene but did not venture there but you might like to explore this thread:

I found this post from naemlo a very helpful read:

this is also powerful:

For other information you can slowly sieve through this:

I had me and another pal slowly reading the thread while waiting for departure at the airport :p

Regarding the massage parlors that are mentioned in the threads, many you can pick the girl you like, and you can bring her/them up to the room. I traveled with a couple more guys so we landed up in an area that had 4 adjoining rooms with a jacuzzi and sauna in the main room. They usually have a karaoke set up but the song list is quite outdated. You can get your jiggy on with your pals in the main room or in private. Price ranges according to "tiers" so check with the papa or mama what tier costs what. It also seems that it might be cheaper in the afternoon than in the evening. more are also available in the afternoons unless you book in advance. We didn't know what we wanted so we just went. If no one catches your eye you guys can just pop to the next place or hang out and wait awhile for the current batch to finish their sessions.

Clubbing is hella fun in BKK. Alcohol is considerably cheaper than in Singapore (as everywhere else I guess) and we had a fun time club hopping, every night of the week. That is an adventure in itself!

Hope this helps!
