“Oh no,” my heart raced. It was an accident. I wasn’t too sure how Jacob was going to react.

He moved his head back a little and gazed at me, before his lips took a dash towards mine. I was taken aback.

It was a passionate kiss. His right hand was on the back of my waist and left hand was on my bare back. I could feel the warmth of his body. My heart was thumping at accelerating speed as his tongue locked with mine. It was like love again.

“What about G? Is this wrong?”, sudden thoughts just flashed across my mind.

I pushed Jacob away.

“I’m sorry,” he apologized. He assumed that I was offended by his action, but I wasn’t. And I didn’t clarify.

“Uh... shall we go back?” I asked in slight awkwardness.

“Alright,” he responded, looking depressed as he turned away.

“Hey,”, my first instinct was to move forward and hug him from the back, with my arms wrapped around his waist.

I tipped toe and gave him a peck of the lips.

Jacob then bravely took my hand, walking back to the restaurant. However, a second before entering, I shook off his hand and hurried myself to the table. He was caught by surprise.

“You guys took so long. It’s getting late, shall we go?” Cass suggested.

“Yeah, let’s go!”G seconded her idea. Noticing the dozen of beer bottles on the table; I reckon that G had drank too much. His face was flushed and seemed to be slightly drunk.

“J, I’ll send you home.” G whispered closely into my ear,with his hand on my waist while walking out the place. I felt his hand maneuvering down towards my ass, the same behavior as 10 years ago. I understood his intention and meaning.

Throughout these time, I was aware that Jacob was watching us from the back, with blood boiling eyes.

“I can go back myself,” I tapped his hand away and rejected the offer.

Jacob: Buddy, I’ll send the 2 ladies home. Don’t worry.

Cass: I stay so far. You send J home better.

After reaching a consensus, Jacob and I sent the 2 of them into their respective cabs and after that, there was awkward silence between us as we walked to the carpark for his car.

Jacob: what’s your postal code? (Trying to key the gps)

J: xxxxxx

Jacob: you can rest first in the car.will wake you when we reach.

“Shall we go to your place?” I plucked up my courage to ask.
