I posted this on another forum a few days ago:

JKY Spa is unfortunately closed for a few weeks. The guard said everyone's "gone on holiday" but looked like they were renovating. No other hotel providers available. But a lot of weixin and momo providers nearby.

Another well-reviewed sauna about 10 minutes drive south of JKY is also closed down, don't know if temporary or not. It's on the 3rd floor of Weilan Guoji 蔚蓝国际 , inside Huahai Dasha Tower A 华海大厦A座 at Jiangnan Da Dao Zhong 江南大道中.

Maybe JKY is resuming operations by the time of your trip. I do remember they are something like noon till midnight or 2am. You can try calling the SPA (5th floor SPA not 4th floor foot massage place) to find out by connecting through the front desk.

Another option is going north a short walk to Deyi Sauna

Have not been to 御龙 before as this is only my 2nd visit to Guangzhou. First time I stayed at 十甫假日酒店 which is at 上下九。

Still waiting for my counterpart in GZ to help me book the hotel for my trip in July. Don't think this time round will stay at 十甫假日酒店. Maybe gonna find some cheaper hotel.

Bro, my flight also going to land midnight 0015hrs. Haha.

Hotel charges will still be considered as 1 night no matter how late we check in.

Same like u, I was also thinking how can I save one night on hotel. LOL..

Then I read that 御龙 can stay overnight if you go after 11pm for free. No additional charges.

It is a 3-4 floors building by itself - just for suana/spa.
if you go after 11pm, can stay overnight till next day morning 10 or 11am.

If u stay Liwan area, then it should be very near to you.

Call the manager make appt. No need worry too much about Yan Da.
If Yan Da situation very bad, they wont open for business also.
