Thanks @pleasurehobby on the tips. Heard a lot of stories on those card advertisement.

Generally i would suggest avoid those cards they throw in into your hotel.

If you must, always ask for very specific requirements for the girls. Bib boobs, pretty face, how tall, how fat, what kind of skills.

Even if you have made requests, be prepared that they will send you a girl totally from your expectation.

There is a big one just opposite the hotel.

It was under major renovation when i was there early this year. The reno should have been done by now.

Most GZ spa provide hj......further than that probably has to make off site arrangement.

This hotel is superb for shopping and makan.......many nice eateries n restaurants all around.

I will be in GZ for Canton fair around end October but I will stay in apartment near to Beijing Lu Metro. If I am thinking to have good spa with hj or sauna or Shui Liao, should I explore near my apartment or nearby canton fair panyu exhibition area or somewhere else?

At night, if I just want to do people watching (of coz want to watch young and sexy gals), any places recommended that is safe too?

Thank you

The previous price before the reno was 280rmb for the use of facilities (quite big with hot n cold pool), a buffer meal, up to 24 hrs stay and a 1.5hrs Chinese massage.

I tipped the MM 100rmb for hj and her service then.

I'm not sure of the new prices. Its all open and publish on the board at the reception.

It's a very nice and clean joint.

Plus 20% discount given to guests of Holiday Inn Sifu. You view their prices and can decide there and then.

The bar street of "Chang Ti lu" and " pi Jiang dong lu" are within walking distance from Beijing lu. You can go gals watching n try your luck there .......

Some of these pubs employed " ladies customers" to entertain their clients by playing dice and chats with them. So please dont mistaken and think that you have super charm when the gals next to your table smile and invite you to have a drink with them. No tipping or ladies drinks required. Just drink from your bottles........hehehe.......

That's GZ style of pubs operation. You can ask the gals of cos if you are not sure.......

It's actually quite fun here if you are alone on business trip and need someone to chat and drink with you for the night.
Most of these gals have office job during the day, this is their part time job to make some income to subsidize the high cost of living in China today. Treat them nice and gentlemanly, you may get unexpected returns.........hehehe.......

广州建国酒店 Five Star Chinese Hotel.

Very very near to GuangZhou East Railway Station, which means it is near subway and No.9 Spa. LOL

From Guangzhou East Railway can take highspeed train 90 mins to ChangPing/Shenzhen.

May I know the address for no 9 Spa. I google for it, but not sure is this address correct? No.161 Linhe West Road。

Also, can I have the MMS Weixin contact as we'll. thanks.

Thank you Travelcraze for sharing. Just wonder if I drink only non-alcohol drink will they stare at me or move on to other tables.

Playing dice? I heard about some friends were tricked into some gambling in the drinking session (not sure where though) and got to pay a lot to be allowed to leave the place (as a few muscular men suddenly turn up to support the local who gambled with my friends). Did you heard of anything that like that? or I am just thinking too much?

I guess usually bar street and massage joints are in the same eco system. Can I assume that there are plenty of good massage joints there, I could imagine my daily night itinerary would be trying good food at Beijing Lu, then go nearby chang ti lu to chat with beautiful gals, followed by a late night massage before heading back to hotel and sleep.

Once again, thanks for your advice :)

Yes it is correct. It is very near gz east station. Cant miss it.
It is actually inside the 中泰国际广场 lvl 4 to 7. There is big neon sign outside the building.
Personal opinion is some of the staffs are snobbish n arrogant.
Maybe becoz they are the most famous n biggest in gz.
Try go after 5pm. Thats when the pretty managers arrive for work.
You can ask them recommend massage ladies. Eat the splendid dinner at lvl 7 at 5.30pm. Then go rest awhile at the 休息厅. It is really quiet. U can also watch some movies at the nearby theatre.
If u go before 5pm....there is not much selection. I was given a dinosaur with lazy attitude.
Be careful of hardsell. Stick w jap or thai. The managers will somehow psycho u to take up a pricier package which involves a stupid machine. Dun take that.
The dinosaur told me for 200 more, she can bring me to a vip room where she do it minus her uniform. But i declined.
Do note u will see female patrons also. I was surprised to see an equal number of female patrons during dinner time. And there are kids also. Lol.
There is no need to give tips whatsoever coz they imposed a 10% service to your bill.
To me, it is a pricey place to be. But just go once for the exp.
It is also good place to rest in if u arrive very late at night at gz east or have an early train to catch.

Looks like you have NOT been to any Pubs even in Sgp.......I really dont know what to advise you.....

Beijing lu is a shopping area not a makan place. Yes there are some eateries there but mainly fast n quick foods for shoppers. Can eat but NOT really great.

Do you find massage centers or SPA at our Clarke Quoy or Robertson walk ???

Drink coke or soft drink in the pub..... I think you better find a nice restaurant have a great and go look for a SPA to rub down.

Seems like u are the one who dun go pubs in SG...

There are a lot of massage parlor and SPA at Clark quay and Boat quay. Most are located on the 2nd or 3rd floor of the shophouse.

As for how clean these joints are... It's all up to your own imagination. Haha

Any brother ever take public taxi from Bai Yun airport after midnight? My flight will reached there at 0030hrs, not sure is it safe to take cab (to hotel near East Station ) at this wee hour?

The last time I asked my private driver (arranged by an agent) to go to super8 hotel along airport road. I paid extra for that.
I am exploring taking public transport for my next trip.

Im not sure whether there is still a shuttle bus from baiyun to train station at that hour.
You can check around. Never tried that though. I went to gz via hkia.
Gz taxis most are run by meter. I only taken once on my last trip there. That was in the morning.
The driver kind of know which small roads to take to avoid the jam.

I did a baidu search, there is a airport transport from Baiyun to east station but the last bus leaves at 1AM, too rush for me as I need to clear custom plus finding the right place to take the last bus. I will take taxi in this case after my rescan in baidu. Thanks again

From airport to east station, just take cab from airport, ok one. Can note down the cab car plate if you want. if really scare then booked a car off ctrip.
if day time take train is also ok, travel time almost same as cab, but 7 yuan.

bro, point to note, always try to seat at the front seat when taking taxi in GZ, they will not play around with u if you seat at the front. only tourist like to seat at the back seat, most locals will seat in front. there are also officers stationed at the taxi stand. you can check with them if you are unsure of where you are going. If you got luggage to store at the boot and you are alone, dun pay the taxi driver 1st unless the hotel got bellboy to help you unload your luggage. and lastly, try to take red or blue taxi, I personally feel safer with these 2 companies. unless you go to ulu ulu places in gz, you should be safe here.

Bro, there is always a last bus from baiyun airport to the main railway station. The bus will only leave the airport when there is not more arrival flight. So, if you are taking jetstar and tiger, can always hop into this last bus. It is very easy to find the bus, it is just outside the airport arrival door.

http://www.travelchinaguide.com/city...huttle-bus.htm

It is bus Line 1. There are a few stops before reaching the main train station, you can choose to alight in any of the stops and take cab to east railway station. I personally feel that the cab in the city is more trustworthy. The ones at the airport will usually ask for an inflated flat rate at that hour.

Hi Bro,

Sorry, been a long time since I log in.

No.9 Spa used to have a website but today when I goggle it, it is no longer in use. But I do believe that No.9 spa is still around.

You can click on the link below for the address.

https://www.google.com.sg/?gfe_rd=cr...A1%8C%E9%A6%86

From this map you can see how close it is to GuangZhou East Railway station
https://www.google.com.sg/maps/place...3f5b791a698c82

And also on foursquare

https://foursquare.com/v/%E4%B9%9D%E...a3ef8bf1624138

I landed in the wee hours, took a taxi to No.9 Spa. If taxi driver don't know, just tell them its next to 广州东站 Guangzhou East railway station.

You need to register with your passport to gain entry into the spa. Take the lift outside the shopping centre 中泰国际广场 straight to the spa entrance. So you can be sure that you will be able to gain access even though it's the wee hours.

After the massage, you can request to sleep in the room until you want to leave.

With regards to Taxi from Baiyun to Guangzhou East Station, you should take the train as it is cheap and about same travelling time. Unless you are landing in the wee hours, then you can take the taxi.

Taxi services, I always follow the line for those taxi drivers who bothered to queue to fetch passengers. Fare is around 150RMB or less.

There are some drivers who didn't queue and try to tout me, and those they are non-taxi but will send you to your destination for a price but I didn't try.

It's like in Singapore, sometimes the taxi drivers have to queue up to hours to wait for their turn to fetch passengers. So I doubt they will do any funny thing to you.

Jetstar no longer fly to Guangzhou anymore. Only budget flying from SIN to GZ is Tiger Air.

Jetstar used to have fabulous fare. S$190 return ticket w/o meal, w/o seats pre selection and w/o check in bag.

One thing good about Guangzhou Baiyun Airport is the cheap and efficient Metro train located in the basement.

From Guangzhou Baiyun Airport I alight at Guangzhou East Station and take the CRH train to Changping Station.
Total travel time within 2 hours at minimal costs!

From the moment I land in Guangzhou Baiyun Airport to the moment I step into Changping KTV flower street is no more than 3 hours!
That was back in the good old days of course.
Now Changping market crash liao! :D
