All H81s outside Geylang charging $30 for transit
Hotel 81 Osaka does not allow PRC at all

Doing a Hotel info thread here with collated info from the above 4 threads. Hopefully samsters no so familiar with the hotel situation can read the info from here before asking anymore questions. Information here has been provided by various samsters who either called the hotels to confirm or went to the hotels.

Hotel 81

Transit rates at all branches outside of Geylang are charging $30/2hrs for members and $10/hr extension.

- Non-members will have to pay $40 for the first time at H81 branches outside of Geylang.

- Bencoolen and Chinatown charges $15/hr for extension*. No info from Kovan extension charges.

- Remember to ask for membership or you will be charged $40 again the next time.

- Branches within Geylang are charging $20/2 hrs transit rate for members and $30 for non members.

- H81 Membership is nationwide, once you get membership in anyone H81 branch, you will get membership rates at all H81 branches nationwide.

- H81 Dickson, Rochor, Kovan, Fuji, Balestier and Osaka requires 2 IC for registration. Osaka has a discretionary policy of not allowing non-locals to co-register. Others not mentioned here maintains 1 IC registration policy.

- H81 Beencoolen requires 2 IC in the event of registering for overnight stay*

Fragrance Hotel

- Fragrance Hotels room rates has remain unchanged. Previous rates still applies.

- Fragrance Kovan have to use 1 IC to register for transit. Reception will have to do a visual inspection(no details recording done) on accompanying guest ID to ensure minimum age*

- Fragrance Hotels has not implemented any policy of requiring 2 ICs for registration.

*denotes information as of today by the respective branches.

Just a quick one, any clues to why H81 does membership ? Discounts sounds attractive, but there's too much information to give away during the cheonging years.

I have to mention that I mostly only collated the info supplied by other samsters also. Bros who contributed on Hotel infos includes :

Bro Poonani, Bro Northern, Bro Blackhorn and many others who verified by calling or were there at the hotels. Hope you fellow bros don't mind I started a thread with the information you all provided :p

Bro, I was with a Malaysian at Fuji just now and the counter staff did not ask me for 2 IC to register.

But as of today fragrance still charge me 30 for transit, 1 IC and they even send me to the room:confused: and i was alone at that time.

I just made a call to them and I think the best thing to say for both Fuji and Balestier is at their discretion ;)

Which fragrance branch did you go to ?

Just tell the reception recording your particulars you want to be a member if they do not ask you.

Kovan, its not my first time there but still 30. For escorting to the room, this is my very first experience for transit. I didn't ask as i was having naughty thoughts of pushing the auntie in to have a 3P session :D

Anyway fragrance's room is sooooo small even chinatown 81 is so much bigger.

Fragrance Kovan has been at $30 for some time. Another $30 Fragrance is Fragrance Imperial, located behind Fragrance Lavender. I was around the area earlier looking for a room and had a waiting time of 3 hours for Imperial :eek:

I think Fragrance Selegie is also $30 transit altho I am not too sure. Maybe fellow samsters can help in detailing the transit rates at the various Fragrance. Scattered info indicates that they have not raised their rates in tandem with H81s, so their previous rates has maintained the same.

As the 6 branches mentioned that requires 2 IC for registration has discretionary policy regarding the application of the requirement, maybe the better method will be to give them a call on the day you intend to go to confirm their current status on the registration policy to avoid complications. ;)

Fragrance Bugis, Fragrance Kovan and Fragrance Selegie - $30

Lavender -

Fragrance Lavender - $20
Fragrance Imperial - $30 ( I did get a standard room once that was $25 instead)

Balestier -

Classic, Rose and Balestier - $20
Oasis does not provide transit rooms.

Pasir Panjang -

Water Front and Ocean View - $30

The others I do not know, so will have to wait for bros who go there to provide info.

Just the usual details in your IC when you register. They told me upfront that it will be discreet and nothing will be sent to your home, and so far it has been true.

But I heard that if you skip or forgot payment, eg you extend and forget to pay, a letter maybe sent to your home to request payment.

they won't sent u a letter. They will charge u for ur next vist in any h81. I Kana before. Pay extra $10 before checking in.

I also kana that before, that time I was late 10min checkout n the counter didn't charge me. Maybe system default remark on me ?

i hv a membership with H81 more than 6 yrs ago but since afterdat, hv not really enjoy the discounted rate. have always paid $20 in GL htl and $20/$30 outside GL. whenever i check in, they oso did not mention my membership. do not know whether now my membership is still active or not d lor?? anyone in the same situation as me?

Thanks Bro, and also thanks to all who have given me their points.

Actually, if you pay $20 in geylang, means that your membership is active. Or it would have been $30 for transit. I think I got my membership about 5 years ago and except for the very first time where I had to pay an extra $10 on top of the rates, they have charged me the membership rates ever since.
