Those convicted of being the tenant, lessee or person in charge of a brothel face a jail term of up to five years, a fine of up to S$10,000 or both. The same penalties apply to anyone found guilty of living wholly or in part on the earnings of the prostitution of another person.

The problem here is they r operating vice business in neighborhood residential unit, which most of the residents think is appropriate n inconvenient for them especially those hv children as 他们觉得有伤风化! They oso dun like too many stranger loitering around their corridors. ;)

As long as they obtain a license, operating in a legal hse then won't hv tis type of problem. In Singapore, almost everything talk abt license, even those busking on the street oso need to apply license.;)

Some are really deserving of tio arrested. A few of them I've been to at Kovan, they practically screamed at bros who cannot find their way in from the main road as they are stationed at some apartments inside the smaller lanes....
