The camping trip was something that was quite significant in the development of the story because it provided a small snippet of what was gonna happen in the future.

Right after we got the campervan, camping permit and food supplies, we drove off towards great ocean road and to the campsite in Great Otway National Park. By the time we reached the place, it was already getting dark and so we quickly "set up" camp and made dinner. The first night was quite peaceful, we had a nice bbq and sat around the campfire and chat till we are tired and went to sleep. Because its a campervan, the tent was on top of the vehicle and also Victor and I took the tent and Vera and Angela sleep in the van cause their legs were shorter.

Day 2, we decided to do some hiking because there were numerous hiking trails within the parks with varying difficulty. We took the one that is medium in difficulty cause neither one of us is in a particulary good shape (it has been 4 years from ORD). The hike was pretty amazing, we passed a waterfall, streams and pretty good scenery. Didnt manage to see any koalas even though eucalyptus tree were everywhere though. On the way back to our vehicle, Vera lost her footing on the uneven ground and fell. Victor ran over to her side almost immediately and helped her up. It seems that she had sprained her ankle.

Victor:" Come, let me help you back into the van"

Vera:" Its ok, Steve can help me."

At that point of time, I knew that Victor is gonna hate me for this but i cant reject a cry for help from a "damsel in distress" can I? So i held Vera's hand while she wrapped herself round my arm and we went back to the van
