Understood how you feel... as suggested by other bros, axe them and move on. For them $$$ is a lot more important than “business etiquette”. I don’t like to generalize but if you read research before, this group of people still have relatively low understanding of “good” customer service...
So moral of the story is .. pls spend your hard earned money wisely... which you just did becoz you paid less for shortened time... that’s how I always look at things from different perspective
