This is quite common. If not zip tie, then u are asked to deposit.
I ever deposit... forgot to claim. Heng I staying over night, next day go and take.
Next time they will have lockers u need to pay to use. Lol
These mainly are the supermarkets. U can always take your business elsewhere. But its for them to combat shoplifting. So don't that it personally.
