Custody most of the time will end up 50/50. Not much of an issue tbh if child is Singaporean. For care and control, that's the part where financial power, network of caregivers and family support comes into play. There's also MSF that can do child evaluation to see who's the better caregiver for the well being of the child.
Nevertheless, main issue is that it'll be costly to fight a messy divorce. My take is that if want to fight, then make sure you fight to win. Don't put in half baked efforts and money to get an unsatisfactory result.
