What kind of scams U came across?

Insituation like this its good to have a close frd whom u can discuss things. A few yrs back I foiled the plan of a scammer selling very cheap HP abt 50% less than market price.Infact my frd was so taken in by him and wanted to hand over the $5k cash to him for the Hp's.He was very persuasive and insistent,on that very day appmt was made at the Newton hawker centre for the transaction. I went with my frd and insisted for COD transaction.He tried asking for the $5K and say will hand the product later after he collected but I insisted otherwise. So he agreed to go with us to the point of collection at a industrial building.Once we reached there he asked for the cash and say will go up and collect so I told him lets go up together /he disagreed and says boss do not like it. So I told him no goods no cash for U.Sensing that his scam not gonna work he relented and said ok I will go up and take the goods asking us to wait downstairs.After waiting for abt 10-15mins he did not show up and we tried calling his Hp but to no avail.So basically he disappeared after realizing his scam was not going to work.
My frd was thankful that I saved him from the loss

Here is another scam. An online scam when calling a social escort in Singapore. It didn't happen to me but it might well have, if I booked such a social escort. The answer is to make a Police report at the cyber crime unit of the branch of Interpol in Singapore. I think the building is at the old Tanglin Police Station, near Gleneagles Hospital.
